Arkadelphia....Take 2!

I'm going to Arkadelphia for part of my spring break, for the second time. Ugh, shoot me. Almost the butthole of Arkansas.

The first time I went to visit my best friend, who has since transfered to Baylor. This time, I am going to see my brother make his first collegiate baseball start. I'm excited about seeing him play however, I am not excited about spending time in the "Delph."

His team, Henderson State, has a double-header against Texas College (traditionally all-black school) and I hope he kicks some ass. I will let you know how it goes...

Marion Barber was just offered a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys. It was a tendered offer valued at $2.562 million. Not bad. He is still free to negotiate with other clubs. I hope he doesn't because I really enjoy the way he plays. He is a straight up badass.

I dont agree with signing Old Balls (Zach Thomas). I mean, the guy is 35 years old. Whatever, good call Jerry...or not. J. Jones needs to be realeased. Especially if the rumors are true and we are looking at getting McFadden. We would have to trade up for him. However, I think we are set at running back with Barber. We will see....

Rangers 1st win of 2008

Josh Hamilton, the newly acquired outfielder from Cincinatti, stepped it up big time today for the Texas Rangers in their spring training opener against the Kansas City Royals.

He had a two-run double in the 5th inning....

He is also tatted up like you wouldn't believe. We took a chance on him and I hope it pays off. He has tons of potential and could really help the team out....we just need PITCHERS right now. Also, on road trips, he is not given his per diem money, it is given to another teammate due to Hamilton's past drug activity. He takes drug tests', sometimes multiples, during each week. If he ever has a positive test again, he is suspened from Major League Baseball for life.

Let's hope that Josh Hamilton can bring some life to this struggling franchise...

WE STILL NEED PITCHERS. Tom Hicks needs to get off his lazy ass and get us some arms, otherwise, here comes the last place finishers in the AL West...

Switcheroo

So, I have finally come to the realization that Mike Huckabee is going to drop out of the race after the Texas primary. It's obvious. Even though I like him and all he stands for, he just doesn't have the funding and the support. He will be back, or atleast I sure hope so. So this means that I, Clark Mitzner, am now endorsing John McCain.

In other news. Last night, in my Race, Gender, Mass Media class we had a panel discussion with two semi-famous people. One guy, Juan Hernandez, is an advisor for John McCain, and the other was a city councilman and a Obama supporter. It was very interesting because I had never been to anything like this before. We touched on everything from immigration to religion to gender. Of course, I opened my mouth and made a comment about Hillary. The comment was in refrence to her trying to get us out of Iraq. I shut 'em down with that. One chick called me a sexist, and several (girls) felt I was right. We also have this Black Bitch (thats what I call her) in my class who opens her mouth all the time and is so annoying. She started talking while our panel was talking. One of my buds leaned over and told her to "Shut Up." No joke, she got quiet fast. She then went on to say that she "f**king hated Republicans." Thankfully, I kept my mouth shut...

Just throwing this out there....Tiger Woods is going to win every tournamnet this year. No joke. He has won his last 4 PGA Tour events and his last 6 worldwide events. Are you kidding me!? This is unreal. I don't think people realize what exactly he is accomplishing and what he is going to continue to accomplish.

First of all, I think Hillary is a closet lesbian. Look at her. Honestly, who finds her attractive? I sure as hell dont.

Anyways, what if she wins? I am all for the war in Iraq. I think we have been successful, but I also think our time is up. We need to start withdrawing troops slowly, but we still need to maintain power. If she wins, how can she accomplish this? Especially in a region where they do not respect women as we do?

Your'e telling me, she can go over, meet with these radical leaders, establish how hardcore she is and get us out especially in a region where women are viewed as unequals to men? Bogus. Your'e only kidding yourselves.
